TRUETAPE: how to tape your heel

Taping tips

Apply tape 1 hour before starting an activity

Thoroughly remove dirt, moisture, oils and lotions from the skin before taping

Do not wear the tape for longer than 7 days

To activate the adhesive, carefully rub the tape several times after applying

In areas that are particularly hairy, trim the hair to ensure the tape sticks better

Remove paper backing before application and always make sure the ends of the tape are applied WITHOUT stretch

Application heel - Starting position
STARTING POSITION

Pull your foot towards your shin.

1. STRIP

Application heel - Step 1
50% STRETCH

Tear off the paper backing in the middle and apply the tape with 50% stretch centered to the back of your heel.

Application heel - Step 2
0% STRETCH

Finish the end of the tape without stretch on the inside of your foot.

Application heel - Step 3
0% STRETCH

Finish the other end without stretch over your ankle on the outside of your foot.

2. STRIP

0% STRETCH

Apply the anchor without stretch to the bottom of your foot just behind your toes.

Application heel - Step 5
50% STRETCH

Apply the tape with 50% stretch across your heel and upwards along your Achilles tendon.

Application heel - Step 6
0% STRETCH

Finish the tape without stretch.

3. STRIP

Application heel - Step 7
50% STRETCH

Tear off the paper backing in the middle. Apply with 50% stretch to the bottom of the heel and to both sides just under the ankle bones.

Application heel - Step 8
0% STRETCH

Apply the end of the tape without stretch over the inside of your ankle.

Application heel - Step 9
0% STRETCH

Apply the tape without stretch over the outside of your ankle.

Application heel - Step 10
DONE!

Make sure to give the whole application another good rub to activate the adhesive. Congrats, that's it.
