TRUETAPE: how to tape your hallux valgus
DIRECTLY TO INSTRUCTIONS
Pain around your big toe's joint
Pain around the ball of the foot*
What you need
2 TRUETAPE strips
1 pair of scissors
Flex your foot upwards and extend your big toe.
Apply the anchor without stretch to the inside of your big toe and rub gently.
Apply the tape with 50% stretch across the inside of your foot.
Flex your foot upwards and wrap the tape around your Achilles tendon with 25% stretch.
Apply the end of the tape without stretch just below the outside of your ankle.
Cut the tape in the middle and apply the tape with 50% stretch over your big toe's joint.
Finish the ends without stretch at the bottom ...
... and top of your foot.
Make sure to give the whole application another good rub to activate the adhesive. Congrats, that's it.
