TRUETAPE: how to tape your elbow

What you need

2 TRUETAPE strips

Wearing time

3-4 days

Taping tips

Apply tape 1 hour before starting an activity

Thoroughly remove dirt, moisture, oils and lotions from the skin before taping

Do not wear the tape for longer than 7 days

To activate the adhesive, carefully rub the tape several times after applying

In areas that are particularly hairy, trim the hair to ensure the tape sticks better

Remove paper backing before application and always make sure the ends of the tape are applied WITHOUT stretch

Application elbow - Starting position
STARTING POSITION

Bend your arm at approximately 90° and hold it in front of your body.

1. STRIP

Application elbow - Step 1
0% STRETCH

Apply the tape without stretch centered to the backside of your upper arm towards your under arm.

Application elbow - Step 2
25% STRETCH

Apply the tape with 25% stretch just above the elbow towards your under arm.

Application elbow - Step 3
0% STRETCH

Apply the end without stretch.

2. STRIP

Application elbow - Step 4
0% STRETCH

Apply the tape without stretch below the first strip.

Application elbow - Step 5
25% STRETCH

Apply the tape with 25% stretch just under the elbow towards your forearm. Don’t tape over the tip of your elbow.

Application elbow - Step 6
0% STRETCH

Finish the end without any stretch next to the first strip.

Application elbow - Step 7
DONE!

Make sure to give the whole application another good rub to activate the adhesive. Congrats, that's it.
