The very elastic TRUETAPE® Basic is made of 97% cotton and, like all our tape products, is produced under fair working conditions in South Korea. With the help of our pre-cut strips and over 50 free taping instructions, you can tape yourself for a variety of everyday ailments or sports injuries to relieve muscular tension, reduce pain and mechanically stabilise your muscles.

Withstands any everyday situation. Elasticity up to 170% (compared to 150% for standard cotton tapes) leads to optimal freedom of movement.
You can shower and bathe with TRUETAPE without any problems. The backing materials are permeable to air and moisture and dry quickly.
Our basic cotton tapes are in no way inferior to their big brother TRUETAPE® in terms of hold. We also work with a hypoallergenic medical adhesive for the best hold and super skin compatibility.
TRUETAPE® Basic Uncut allows you to customise your TRUETAPE with scissors to suit your exact needs.
There are 4 TRUETAPES® to choose from, which differ in their configuration and material - the adhesive properties are the same for all tapes. TRUETAPE® and TRUETAPE® Basic are available precut with 20 25cm strips per roll and uncut as a 5m roll.
If you want to tear off the strips directly from the roll or tap directly on the go without scissors, you should opt for the precut strips. If you want to customise your tape anyway, it's best to choose one of the TRUETAPE® Uncut versions.
If you don't want to compromise on performance, go for one of the two high-performance TRUETAPE® versions. For the everyday taper and occasional jogger, our slightly thicker TRUETAPE® Basic Tape is the ideal choice.
Yes, you can! With the help of the pre-cut tapes, handling is made much easier and complicated measuring of the tape length in pre-stretch is no longer necessary. In our instructions, we show you exactly how and where to apply the tape and point out all possible sources of error. All instructions for the use of our tapes were developed by doctors and physiotherapists from our team.
Kinesiotapes are widely used in medical practice and physiotherapy for general musculoskeletal complaints. You can use TRUETAPE, for example, for muscle bruises, strains, tension, sore muscles, tendon insertion irritations or for the gentle stabilisation of joints.

The effect of kinesiological tapes has not yet been clearly clinically proven and is therefore still controversial, despite being widely used in the German health system.
No, you don't need to. The colour has no influence on the properties of our tapes. So you can choose the colour you like best. We have only used several colours in the instructions to make it easier to see the individual strips.
