What is TRUETAPE?

TRUETAPE is an elastic sports tape, also called kinesiology tape. With the pre-cut strips and over 50 free taping tutorials, you can apply the tape yourself to treat numerous sports injuries, symptoms of overuse, and musculoskeletal complaints.*

We use particularly elastic and durable materials to offer you the most long-lasting and comfortable tape there is. But, TRUETAPE has even more unique qualities.

The benefits of TRUETAPE

At TRUETAPE, we gear all our efforts towards guaranteeing the best-possible taping results. This is reflected in both our product quality and in our Tutorials section.

Exceptional elasticity

Greater elasticity means more wearing comfort and a superior wear time, even in extreme conditions.

Pre-cut

Simple handling and quick tape application. This also drastically reduces cutting waste.

Very gentle on the skin

An extended drying phase during the production process makes our tapes even more gentle on the skin.

Waterproof + breathable

Continues to stick, even after repeated showering or heavy perspiration. You can wear your TRUETAPE for up to 7 days.

How do I use TRUETAPE?

Using TRUETAPE on yourself or your friends and family is very easy. Simply look up the relevant taping tutorial in our Tutorial section and start taping directly thanks to the pre-cut strips. With the perfectly rounded pre-cuts, the tape stays on skin for longer; on top of this, you also use less tape per application. If you still have any questions or can’t find the right taping tutorial to treat your problem, don’t hesitate to contact us at experten@truetape.de!

Our view on self-treatment

Some critics of TRUETAPE claim that we want to cast doubts on the importance of having disease, pain, and illness treated by medical professionals. This is simply not true! Quite the contrary: We have a background in conventional medicine and fully understand the importance of reliable diagnoses and careful therapeutic planning. However, we are convinced that our products and well-thought-out, professional, and easy-to-understand tutorials can help a lot of people. Not everyone has the resources or time to frequently visit doctors and physical therapists to treat diagnosed physical weaknesses. TRUETAPE offers a virtually risk-free treatment opportunity for home use. If you know your body and stick to our recommendations, you can start taping without a worry.
